This week's theme for secrets is: "I dream of ____"
Remember, secrets do not have to be on theme, and secret buddy secrets may or may not follow the theme.

If your comment is deleted, do not fear! We received your secret(s), but as the week goes on, and we set up a post, we may delete secrets as we go.

Not sure what to make a secret about? Let us help you! Each week, you can sign up for a "SECRET BUDDY," and this means is for that week, you have to make at least one secret about the person that you are assigned to. Sounds pretty easy, right? Don't think that you'll have time that week? That's fine! Sign-ups are on a weekly basis, so don't feel obligated to do it every week, but note that we have to have participation in order for this to work.

Here are the guidelines: 1. You may sign up for up to three secret buddies per character. Please let us know how many you would like in your reply. Remember, for each secret buddy to sign up for, you have to make at least one secret about that person. 2. Sign-ups will run from Friday night after the secret post to Tuesday evening at 8PM EST so we can let you know who your secret buddy is Tuesday night. 3. You must have a screened post in your journal so that we can tell you who your secret buddy is (or secret buddies are if you opt to have more than one). Your OOC screened post is fine. 4. Secrets must be submitted by 10PM est Friday. You have to have them in an hour before the post just in case someone is unable to make their secrets or something needs to be fixed, we have enough time to do it before the post goes up.

Ready to get started? Just comment this post with how many secret buddies you would like, and we'll let you know Tuesday night around 10PM est who your "buddy" is for the week. Your secret is IC.

Secret buddy sign-ups for December 2nd will be Friday after secrets until Tuesday (November 29th) at 8PM est. We will send out secrets buddy assignments on Tuesday evenings.

• Secrets cannot exceed 800 pixels in width and 600 in height. Any larger images will not be posted. Once you've made your secret and uploaded it to one of the image hosts at the bottom of this post, leave a comment on the submission post with a link to the secret.

• We will also accept text secrets and song dedications. If you want to submit one of these, comment anonymously on the submissions post as usual and type in your text secret. In the case of a song dedication, make sure you include who it is for and an optional why of five sentences or less.

• We understand that some secrets can be mean or dramatic. In fact, some of the most fun secrets can be mean and dramatic. Just don't be petty about it or base secrets on OOC conflicts. rpvents is a better place for OOC grievances.

• If a mean secret has been made about your character, try not to get upset about it. Sometimes characters just don't get along. But if you do feel that a line has been crossed with a secret, get in touch with one of the mods.
